AUTO INDUSTRY, EVs, MOBILITY, ETC

Autoextremist : opinionated Peter de Lorenzo gives the best insider's description of the joys and miseries of the automotive industry. His was the only voice of reason during both Ford's and GM's downfall. Sure, I am one of his left coast shinny happy people who wants everyone driving balsa wood electric cars, but I share his love for the product and the good people who makes them. More than anything, I share his passion against corporate bullshit.

Carsharing.us : from the person who brought car-sharing to America (Dave Brook), and later helped Daimler set up Car2Go in Austin TX.

EVWorld : their Weekly Brief is a nicely condensed collection of news to keep up with the world.

Jalopnik : Autoblog (Green or vanilla) has it all, but the Jalops are the irreverent ones, and that's why they get my vote.

Daryl Shiry : ex-Tesla CMO, and a good guy. He is starting up a software company now, but his blog is still dedicated to EVs.

Wheelchange : (still under construction) Dan Sturges educational site.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND THE STARTUP LIFE

Just in case you want to start your first company. There is a lot of advice on the web, but you can't go wrong starting with this three.

Venture Hacks : great advice, mostly technology oriented, but very useful. Plus they answer their emails (!). Worth following them on Tweeter.

Both Sides of the Table : Mark Suster's blog, a two times entrepreneur who has gone to the Dark Side of VC.

Steve Blank : I love/hate how Mr. Blank destroys my preconceived notions of innovating in a vacuum, typical of my product background. He is a great speaker too, so it's worth to track down his available podcasts (here is one).
